I am incredibly pleased that Labor has announced we will phase out live sheep exports. Labor also supports the immediate ban of live sheep exports during the summer months. We will work with the relevant groups to assist sheep farmers in the transition. The decision recognises that live sheep export is inherently cruel. Well done to all who raised their voice  on this issue!
